Spring Cleaning by Brandi Salazar Virtual Book Tour

Synopsis:
Sometimes, relationships can be deadly.
Terri thought she was marrying a strong, loving man, only to find that beneath that handsome face lies something cold, brutal, and dangerous. After years of abuse, Randy takes things a little too far, and Terri finally summons the courage to take matters into her own hands and make her escape. But freedom comes at a price.
Forging a new life, Terri tries to forget her past, but she can’t help looking over her shoulder at every turn. When prison bars can no longer hold Randy, and her past comes knocking, Terri finds that the strength to trust again may be her only salvation.

Review:
I absolutely loved the story! I found it to be very well done and I absolutely loved the characters in the book! I don’t know how Terri drew inner strength the way she did!
This was a great example of a book you don’t want to put down. The plot line consisted of Terri trying to escape the past with an abusive husband, and what happens after he gets out of prison with an axe to grind. While trying to protect Terri from her ex-husband Randy, her boss Luke falls for her. The lengths these two go to protect not only Terri but him as well are astounding.
I really liked how Terri’s naivety was played upon when the author divulged how she met her now ex-husband in the story. This wasn’t a book that just played upon the good traits of the characters. The mental and emotional journey that Terri went on from young college student to a woman fighting for her life is nothing short of a miracle. You read a lot of stories where victims of domestic violence never truly understand what needs to change before they can move on, but this character and author nailed it on the head. The change needs to come from within and they need to wake up one day and say enough is enough. I couldn’t think of a better way to do that then Terri’s way of Spring Cleaning!
I love Brandi Salazar’s writing style! Every question that pops into your head by reading this book gets answered and she isn’t afraid to get into the nitty gritty of the characters.
In my opinion, pick up a copy of the book, get comfy, and plan for an all night read-a-thon! You really don’t want to miss out on a book that is reminiscent of Mary Higgins Clark from this wonderful author. Let Brandi Salazar take you into the world of Terri, Randy and Luke!

About the author information:

Hook's Pan by Marie Hall

Title: Hook's Pan
Author: Marie Hall
Publisher: Marie Hall Publishing
Publish Date: April 24, 2013

Synopsis:

Trishelle Page has known pain in her life, but instead of it making her weak, she's stronger. Confident. That is until the day a fairy named Danika kidnaps her during her staring role in Peter Pan's play and tells her not only do fairy tales exist, but that she's the soulmate of the pirate they call Hook, making her question everything she ever thought she knew.

Captain James Hook is a man at the end of his rope. He's not the villainous bastard tales have made him out to be. So when the curvaceous blonde drops literally at his feet, he aims to prove it to her. If only to get her into his bed.

What neither one knows is that fate and magic are conspiring and they can deny the attraction all they want but their happily ever after is already written, it's just a matter of getting there.

Review:
Anyone who knows me, knows I love the bad boys. 100%. Marie Hall has an amazing series here! I absolutely love the concept of putting a twist in traditional stories and making them utterly unique, and Marie Hall has one heck of an imagination that is able to blaze up the pages of her books! Yes, I said books. While I received Hook's Pan on NetGalley to review, I have already went into iBooks and bought some more from The Kingdom Series. Yeah, they are that good!

I loved the depth she showed in James Hook, and I really did love that he showed a sweet, caring, and compassionate side. He really was deliciously bad in this book. Have I mentioned that I really like the bad boys? Trishelle was a great character as well, she mixed effortlessly with Hook. They were two sides of one coin.

I loved the fairy Danika, it was nice to see Tinkerbell dismissed basically as a mean little sadistic fairy ;) I am now waiting for my best friend to call yelling at me for that statement! But it is refreshing to see Neverland through a different set of eyes!

It was interesting part of her story when she explained why Captain Hook did not like Peter Pan, and it was evident the amount of pain he felt. Marie Hall breathed new life into stories that are normally meant for children, leaving the adult readers wanting more. I honestly hope she finds more to bad boys to feature in her Kingdom Series, because honestly, she wrote a gem with Hook's Pan! I absolutely adore it and it is a book you will read time and again!

Fly away to Neverland again, one ruled by emotions, lust, love, and hatred; a Neverland where nothing is what you thought it was. Fall in love with the bad boys for the first time. Don't miss out on The Kingdom Series! You really want to be included on this hidden treasure!

Oh, don't forget to follow Marie Hall's blog!

ISBN: 9781622661152

Synopsis:
After college graduation, Helene Masters is excited to land a job in a picturesque Aegean kingdom. Tasked with sprucing up the Prince's villa, she inadvertently finds herself trapped on the island with the sexiest man alive. Of course she has to fall for a man who is destined to only marry royalty.
Darius Vasily, Prince of Teirenias, can't figure out what pretty, but accident-prone, Helene is doing at his private estate. After dousing him in paint, she disappears inside the secret cave holding the royal family treasure—a fertility statue, but a cave-in traps them both. Now Darius has to figure out how to save them before he kills her for getting them into this mess in the first place—or gives into their amazing chemistry.

Review:
While the book was entertaining, my favorite part of the story is the back story. The back story is centered around loose pages found in various areas that tell the story of an early princess in the Vasily line.

It was unique to see the two stories entwined in each other and a lot of fun reading both! Helene was a great character! She had her faults and naivety, it was obvious the strength in the relationship came from Darius but it was a lot of fun to see Helene come into her own. Her character was a powerhouse! Similiar to Darius's sister.

This is a great read! I encourage anyone to pick it up!

Synopsis:
Angela Peterson was always the quiet, shy kid growing up in Harper Falls, crushing on the high school quarterback and honing her football strategy skills. Now grown up and coaching the high school team, she’s shocked when that same sexy quarterback returns to Harper Falls asks her back to his hotel room. And then tries to steal her job.

Injured NFL quarterback Cade Reynolds is in Harper Falls to take over as interim head coach, and he never thought the tall, blond bombshell he propositioned would offer up any resistance. Not to a repeat of the amazingly wild night they shared and certainly not to his coaching position.
But the Harper Falls High Eagles are Angie’s team, and even the hometown hero won’t take that away from her, no matter how hot he is. As the two engage in a battle of wits and wills, this is one game neither is prepared to lose.

Review:
I love stories where the women are the go to characters for sports! This story was sweet and well written! I really liked not only the characters but I really liked the community feeling in the book. The feeling you only get from a small town!

It was great to see how the characters, both major and minor, lives were wound together coming around full circle. It was a terrific story about following your dreams and altering them when the time was appropriate. Cade and Angela were a great couple, and I loved the dynamic between the two especially when they were coaching the high school football team. It didn't matter that Cade was the NFL player, Angela had the brains and the love of football.

All in all, if your looking for a good story with a twist I would definitely read Skin in the Game! It's worth picking up! You won't regret it!

Yet as the chemistry between him and Christie burns out of control, he can’t help but think this woman is out for his money like all the rest. Review:
Talking Dirty with the CEO has a great story line! It was fun to read and made me laugh out loud a few times! After all, laughing just might be the best thing about life!

Christie and Joseph made a great couple in the book and the friendship between the two become very endearing as it progressed in the story! It was easy to like Joseph Ashton, with his constant worry about his ADHD and Christie was awkward enough to be completely loveable in this book! One character that I wished would have gotten more time in the book was Joseph's no nonsense sister. She was great in this story.

I really liked the story line and how it progressed throughout. The characters were some of my favorites that I have read recently! I highly recommend checking out the book! It would be well worth your time!

Review:
A sweet love story with a matchmaking ghost. Don't worry, it's not exactly a paranormal romance; I know a lot of people aren't fans of that genre.

Well developed and intriguing characters are the heart of this story. I loved how the author wove folklore into the story to help give the environment more depth and the lessons taught to the characters are ones that everyone would benefit from.

Dream Nights With The CEO is well written, fun, and witty. If your looking for a sweet romance to talk away your bad week, pick up this book and settle in. You won't be disappointed!

I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
