Synopsis:
Sometimes, relationships can be deadly.
Terri thought she was marrying a strong, loving man, only to find
that beneath that handsome face lies something cold, brutal, and
dangerous. After years of abuse, Randy takes things a little too far,
and Terri finally summons the courage to take matters into her own hands
and make her escape. But freedom comes at a price.
Forging a new life, Terri tries to forget her past, but she can’t
help looking over her shoulder at every turn. When prison bars can no
longer hold Randy, and her past comes knocking, Terri finds that the
strength to trust again may be her only salvation.

Review:
I absolutely loved the story! I found it to be very well done and I
absolutely loved the characters in the book! I don’t know how Terri drew
inner strength the way she did!
This was a great example of a book you don’t want to put down. The
plot line consisted of Terri trying to escape the past with an abusive
husband, and what happens after he gets out of prison with an axe to
grind. While trying to protect Terri from her ex-husband Randy, her boss
Luke falls for her. The lengths these two go to protect not only Terri
but him as well are astounding.
I really liked how Terri’s naivety was played upon when the author
divulged how she met her now ex-husband in the story. This wasn’t a book
that just played upon the good traits of the characters. The mental and
emotional journey that Terri went on from young college student to a
woman fighting for her life is nothing short of a miracle. You read a
lot of stories where victims of domestic violence never truly understand
what needs to change before they can move on, but this character and
author nailed it on the head. The change needs to come from within and
they need to wake up one day and say enough is enough. I couldn’t think
of a better way to do that then Terri’s way of Spring Cleaning!
I love Brandi Salazar’s writing style! Every question that pops into
your head by reading this book gets answered and she isn’t afraid to get
into the nitty gritty of the characters.
In my opinion, pick up a copy of the book, get comfy, and plan for an
all night read-a-thon! You really don’t want to miss out on a book that
is reminiscent of Mary Higgins Clark from this wonderful author. Let
Brandi Salazar take you into the world of Terri, Randy and Luke!
very young age, weaving tales to share with her friends that were
geared toward making them laugh. Today her writing habits reflect that,
ranging from mystery/suspense/thriller to paranormal and YA romance, and
no matter how different her works may be, you can always find a healthy
dose of action, romance, and humor. Under the pen name J.C. Valentine,
she also writes erotic romance fiction.

A longtime resident of Ohio, Brandi lives with her husband, three
children, a dog and five cats that keep her very busy. She holds a
degree in Business and has plans to continue her education so she can
one day become an editor to authors everywhere. When she isn’t crafting
her next novel, toiling away at schoolwork, or hanging out with family,
you can find her curled up in her favorite chair with her nose buried in
a book.
Synopsis:

Trishelle Page has known pain in her life, but instead of
it making her weak, she's stronger. Confident. That is until the day a
fairy named Danika kidnaps her during her staring role in Peter Pan's
play and tells her not only do fairy tales exist, but that she's the
soulmate of the pirate they call Hook, making her question everything
she ever thought she knew.

Captain James Hook is a man at the end
of his rope. He's not the villainous bastard tales have made him out to
be. So when the curvaceous blonde drops literally at his feet, he aims
to prove it to her. If only to get her into his bed.

What neither
one knows is that fate and magic are conspiring and they can deny the
attraction all they want but their happily ever after is already
written, it's just a matter of getting there.

Review:
Anyone who knows me, knows I love the bad boys. 100%. Marie Hall has an amazing series here! I absolutely love the concept of putting a twist in traditional stories and making them utterly unique, and Marie Hall has one heck of an imagination that is able to blaze up the pages of her books! Yes, I said books. While I received Hook's Pan on NetGalley to review, I have already went into iBooks and bought some more from The Kingdom Series. Yeah, they are that good!

I loved the depth she showed in James Hook, and I really did love that he showed a sweet, caring, and compassionate side. He really was deliciously bad in this book. Have I mentioned that I really like the bad boys? Trishelle was a great character as well, she mixed effortlessly with Hook. They were two sides of one coin.

I loved the fairy Danika, it was nice to see Tinkerbell dismissed basically as a mean little sadistic fairy ;) I am now waiting for my best friend to call yelling at me for that statement! But it is refreshing to see Neverland through a different set of eyes!

It was interesting part of her story when she explained why Captain Hook did not like Peter Pan, and it was evident the amount of pain he felt. Marie Hall breathed new life into stories that are normally meant for children, leaving the adult readers wanting more. I honestly hope she finds more to bad boys to feature in her Kingdom Series, because honestly, she wrote a gem with Hook's Pan! I absolutely adore it and it is a book you will read time and again!

Fly away to Neverland again, one ruled by emotions, lust, love, and hatred; a Neverland where nothing is what you thought it was. Fall in love with the bad boys for the first time. Don't miss out on The Kingdom Series! You really want to be included on this hidden treasure!

Oh, don't forget to follow Marie Hall's blog!
After
college graduation, Helene Masters is excited to land a job in a picturesque

Darius
Vasily, Prince of Teirenias, can't figure out what pretty, but accident-prone,
Helene is doing at his private estate. After dousing him in paint, she

statue, but a cave-in traps them both. Now Darius has to figure out how to save
them before he kills her for getting them into this mess in the first place—or
gives into their amazing chemistry.

While the book was entertaining, my favorite part of the story is the back story. The back story is centered around loose pages found in various areas that tell the story of an early princess in the Vasily line.

It was unique to see the two stories entwined in each other and a lot of fun reading both! Helene was a great character! She had her faults and naivety, it was obvious the strength in the relationship came from Darius but it was a lot of fun to see Helene come into her own. Her character was a powerhouse! Similiar to Darius's sister.

This is a great read! I encourage anyone to pick it up!

Synopsis:

Angela
Peterson was always the quiet, shy kid growing up in Harper Falls, crushing on
the high school quarterback and honing her football strategy skills. Now grown
up and coaching the high school team, she’s shocked when that same sexy
quarterback returns to Harper Falls asks her back to his hotel room. And then
tries to steal her job.

Injured
NFL quarterback Cade Reynolds is in Harper Falls to take over as interim head
coach, and he never thought the tall, blond bombshell he propositioned would
offer up any resistance. Not to a repeat of the amazingly wild night they
shared and certainly not to his coaching position.

But
the Harper Falls High Eagles are Angie’s team, and even the hometown hero won’t

Review:

I love stories where the women are the go to characters for sports! This story was sweet and well written! I really liked not only the characters but I really liked the community feeling in the book. The feeling you only get from a small town!

It was great to see how the characters, both major and minor, lives were wound together coming around full circle. It was a terrific story about following your dreams and altering them when the time was appropriate. Cade and Angela were a great couple, and I loved the dynamic between the two especially when they were coaching the high school football team. It didn't matter that Cade was the NFL player, Angela had the brains and the love of football.

Synopsis:
Gadget journalist Christie St. John is more geek than chic. But when
research for an article she has to write on online dating leads to the
bed of the hottest guy she’s ever met, she knows that if the geek is to
keep the hottie CEO, she’s going to have to come out of her digital
shell.

Tech mogul Joseph Ashton never expected an Internet blind date to end
in the best sex of his life. Yet as the chemistry between him and
Christie burns out of control, he can’t help but think this woman is out
for his money like all the rest. She claims she wants his heart instead
– but that’s the one thing he can never give.

Review:
Talking Dirty with the CEO has a great story line! It was fun to read and made me laugh out loud a few times! After all, laughing just might be the best thing about life!

Christie and Joseph made a great couple in the book and the friendship between the two become very endearing as it progressed in the story! It was easy to like Joseph Ashton, with his constant worry about his ADHD and Christie was awkward enough to be completely loveable in this book! One character that I wished would have gotten more time in the book was Joseph's no nonsense sister. She was great in this story.

I really liked the story line and how it progressed throughout. The characters were some of my favorites that I have read recently! I highly recommend checking out the book! It would be well worth your time! Review:
A sweet love story with a matchmaking ghost. Don't worry, it's not exactly a paranormal romance; I know a lot of people aren't fans of that genre.

Well developed and intriguing characters are the heart of this story. I loved how the author wove folklore into the story to help give the environment more depth and the lessons taught to the characters are ones that everyone would benefit from.
Being
the Greek god of love doesn’t mean you believe--or want--anything to do with
that sappy emotion. Sure, Eros runs his matchmaking business, Made in Heaven,
but finding his own love has never been part of the equation. When he spots the
sweet baker who works across the street, he vows to match her with someone else
before she stirs his sullen heart.
Annie
Landon has given up on finding Mr. Right. What she needs is Mr. Right Here,
Right Now, and this so-called “Greek God” she’s heard is on the rebound sounds
like the perfect kind of distraction. But picking up the bitter workaholic is
easier said than done…especially when he seems unreasonably determined to match
her with someone else.

Can a
woman looking for love—and the matchmaking god who wants her to find it with
someone who isn’t him—have a shot at a happy ending? May the best god—or

Review:

Here is a little known secret about me, I love the Dark Hunter series. By love I mean that I own every single one written, on iBooks and in actual books. I was incredibly surprised to pick up this book and find so many similarities between that series and this book. Jenna Bennett wrote an excellent book book that was funny and romantic. I like books with a lot of humor mixed in and I was glad this one fit right in with my taste. I like to laugh out loud while reading!

Annie was a a good character who was extremely approachable. I wish she wouldn't have been such a push over at times, but overall she was great, likeable, and sweet. Eros, was a little more developed and was a great character as well. It was nice to see him written as the underdog in the story. Normally when Greek gods are written into the stories, mere mortals don't stand a chance. His character in this book was endearing. I just wish he would have actually hit Harry like he wanted too.

I liked the authors approach on mixing Greek gods into the story. Make them approachable and almost like real people, except for the drop dead gorgeous looks and the immortality. It was a fantastic approach on the story.

For me, it was an entertaining and quick read. If you like the Dark Hunter series, don't miss out on this book. If you have never liked them, you will still like this story with its loveable characters and well written humor.
Review:

What an amazingly informative book on succulents. The knowledge this book offers is fantastic! It is amazing the different things that she shows you can do with them. I am an avid gardener and love my cacti and succulents, but I never thought of some of the things she did with them! I am excited to try some of the different projects out and see how they come out.

Her photographs in the book are amazing too! She really captures the beauty of these plants. I loved her description of beautifully stressed succulents. A lot of people unfamiliar with succulents wouldn't understand why theirs look different than photographs but that one section helps sum it up! This book will be helpful to a novice gardener as well as an experienced one!

The first thing I am trying out is the succulent topiary!

About The Author:
This cookbook has such an amazing array of recipes! The recipes are detailed, easy to follow and appeal to many different tastes. The photographs are well done and look fantastic, they make you want to jump up and cook them immediately.

One of my favorite recipes out of this book was Pasta and Lentils, Sicilian Style. I followed the recipe to a T, and it came out perfect and was a huge hit! I even got my picky nieces and nephews to try it out. I can't wait to try more out of here!

I loved the simplicity of the layout and how the whole book was organized! It is a fantastic cookbook! Once you try these recipes out, you are going to want to pass them around!
